Slovakia 2 Euro 2018 - 25 Years of the Slovak Republic UNC

The design symbolizes Slovakia's accession to the European Union and the euro area, depicting a stylized gateway rising above the map of Slovakia and the euro symbol, surrounded by the stars of the European Union, some of which are obscured by the map. The coat of arms of Slovakia is located to the left of the design. On the lower left, in a semicircle, is inscribed the name of the issuing country – "SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA". The date of the establishment of the state "1.1.1993" and the year of issuance "2018" are shown one above the other, beneath the right side of the map. Between the map and the date of establishment are the mint mark of the Kremnica Mint (Mincovna Kremnica), consisting of the initials "MK" placed between two dies, and the stylized letters "PK" – the initials of the design's author, Pavel Károly. The outer ring of the coin depicts the 12 stars of the European Union.
