Terms of use for the platform

These general terms and conditions govern the relationship between the users and YUMI 2018 EOOD, company ID (EIK): 204972888, the owner of the online auction platform. By using the site you agree to them.

1. Registration and account

• Taking part in auctions requires registering with valid personal details.
• The user is responsible for keeping their login details confidential.
• Each user is entitled to one account.

2. Conducting auctions

• The platform allows users to take part in online auctions for a variety of goods.
• Users may place bids until the auction's deadline expires.
• The winner is the user with the highest bid when the auction closes.
• The platform is not responsible for the quality or origin of the goods unless expressly stated.

3. Payment and delivery

• All prices and payments on the platform are in euro (EUR).
• The buyer pays the seller directly, in the way the seller states on the listing: cash on delivery (paid to the courier on delivery) or cash on pickup. The platform neither processes nor holds these funds.
• Delivery is by courier or in person, as agreed between the parties.
• Delivery costs are borne by the buyer unless agreed otherwise.

4. Commissions, balance and referral rewards

• The platform is commission-free. No commission is taken on a sale, there is no listing fee, no success fee and no subscription. The seller receives the full price agreed with the buyer.
• Optionally, a user may buy extra platform services (listing promotion, additional photos, anti-snipe, live streaming). They are voluntary, paid from the balance, and are not a commission on a sale.
• The balance is topped up by card. Card payments are used ONLY to top up the balance and to pay for those extra services — never for goods and never for delivery.
• Funds available in the balance can be withdrawn subject to the published minimum withdrawal amount.
• Referral rewards are credited to a separate balance, may be used only for premium features, and cannot be withdrawn.
• If the commission terms change, the platform will notify users in advance through the site, as set out under Changes to the terms.

5. Rights and obligations of users

• Users must provide accurate information and must not misuse the platform.
• Publishing unlawful, offensive or misleading material is prohibited.
• Users have the right to request deletion of their account and personal data (GDPR).

6. Rights and obligations of the platform

• The platform may terminate a user's access if these terms are breached.
• The platform aims to operate continuously but does not guarantee that there will be no interruptions or faults.
• The platform processes personal data in accordance with applicable law.

7. Liability

• The platform is not liable for damage caused by the actions of third parties or other users.
• The platform is not liable for losses arising from an inability to access or use the site.

8. Changes to these terms

• The platform reserves the right to change these terms at any time, notifying users through the site.
